Jalisa Gilmore is the Senior Manager of Health and Land Use Programs at Groundwork USA, responsible for supporting the implementation of community-centered strategies for building healthier neighborhoods in communities across the country. Jalisa utilizes her background in public health, climate resilience, community-based participatory research, and environmental justice to support the Brownfields Technical Assistance Program, Climate Safe Neighborhoods Partnership, and the Urban Waters Learning Network. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Sciences from SUNY Albany and an MPH in Environmental Health Sciences from Columbia University, with a specialization in the human health effects of climate change.
