About me
Felice Green is the Senior Director of Programming at Milwaukee Water Commons. She has years of nonprofit experience serving in various leadership positions at the intersections of environmental justice, community partnerships, public health, civic engagement, and advocacy in marginalized and underserved neighborhoods from grassroots organizing for high-quality school options, voter registration, and HIV/AIDS awareness to pedestrian and bike safety.
In her senior leadership role, Felice leads cross-functional teams that drive organizational programs and initiatives development along with establishing strategic projects with diverse water sector organizations, key stakeholders, partners and community leaders ensuring that all voices are heard.
She has been recognized for advancing community engagement, executing high-impact initiatives, and enhancing brand visibility. Her many awards include the inaugural Environmental Hero Award from TMJ4 Positively Milwaukee, 2025 Impact Award from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Alumni Association, 2024 Unity Award from Milwaukee Magazine, 2023 African American Environmental Pioneer Award, 2022 Inaugural Marketing Executive by BizTimes Media, 2021 Women’s History Month Award and 2020 Black Excellence Award for Volunteerism from the Milwaukee Times Weekly Newspaper — and several mayoral and gubernatorial proclamations recognizing her community service and environmental advocacy.
