Welcome to River Rally 2026
Wednesday May 13, 2026 1:30pm - 3:00pm CDT
Strengthening and investing in urban forestry is a practical, nature‑based solution to protect our clean water supply by slowing stormwater, filtering pollution, and reconnecting communities to healthy river systems, all while also improving public health and neighborhood livability. This session is designed for anyone interested in how trees can support stronger watersheds and create local, green jobs with economic mobility. Participants will learn how to apply American Forests’ Tree Equity tools and about funding sources to support urban and community forestry. You’ll also hear from River Network partners' real‑world case studies on using trees to improve river and community health, engaging our communities, and creating lasting and positive change.
