About me
Rebecca Pryor (she/they) is the Executive Director for Guardians of Flushing Bay, where they steward a grassroots vision of a healthy, equitably accessible Flushing Waterways cared for by a network of local residents. Prior to GoFB, Rebecca served as the Civics and Community Stewardship Manager with Riverkeeper and in education roles for the Bronx River Alliance and North Brooklyn Community Boat House. In all her work, Rebecca brings a laser focus on the health and equity of the city's interconnected social-ecological systems. Rebecca has an M.S. in City and Regional Planning at Pratt Institute’s Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment.
