About me
Rita Robles was born and raised in the Denver Harbor neighborhood in Houston, TX. Ever since she was a child, Rita has wanted to help and connect with others, inspired by her mother and her very large family, and her desire to uplift those who are suffering. Rita joined the Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience in 2020 to promote CEER’s message on climate justice and community resilience. Rita also joined the Northeast Action Collective in 2022 and became a hub house captain in 2024. Rita focuses on making connections, uplifting others, and ending suffering in Denver Harbor and neighboring Black and Brown neighborhoods.
