About me
Christine Favilla, Three Rivers Project Coordinator, Sierra Club, Illinois Chapter - Christine works on education and advocacy surrounding air quality, sustainable agriculture, water quality, and water management issues in a tri-county region in Southern Illinois since 2001. Christine completed her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Human Services, and Environmental Policy at Fort Lewis College, Colorado in January 1998. She currently holds many professional certifications related to her work and has collaborated on several publications. Her present obligations include Co-Chairing the One Mississippi Steering Committee, sitting on the Water Resources and Advisory Committee of the East-West Gateway Council of Governments, the Mississippi Earthtones Festival Planning Committee, the Alton Riverfront Advisory Commission, the Great Rivers Pollinator Habitat Partnership, the Illinois Nutrient Research & Education Council, the Illinois Stewardship Alliance Soil Health Team, and the Restoration Ecology/Environmental Sciences Advisory Committee at Lewis and Clark Community College.
