About me
Becky has worked with Clean Water Action in multiple roles since 2001. Her work has included assembling a multi-sector network in Massachusetts to support innovative and alternative approaches for integrated water and energy resource management, support for initiatives such as the Clean Water Restoration Act, and winning Clean Water Act protections for waters through citizen law suits. In Texas, Clean Water Action has focused on water and wastewater quality standards most recently by representing our members in coalition with the Wastewater Conservation Coalition, the Coalition for Environment, Equity, and Resilience (CEER), and the Carbon Capture and Storage Community Coalition. In the most recent Texas legislative session, CWA worked alongside many colleagues to critically improve the enabling legislation that won $1 billion annually on the statewide ballot for water infrastructure investment. Becky earned her B.A. in Political Science and English Literature from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Masters of Environmental Management from Duke University. She enjoys reading, her kitties and family, finding new freshwater swimming holes, and evenings visiting around a fire pit.
