River Rally 2026

Get into the zine of community storytelling! Art and storytelling are powerful tools that can help us connect more deeply with our communities and build stronger environmental and place-based connections. In this session, Amanda Thackray, Lower Passaic River UWFP Artist in Residence, will lead participants in zine-making to demonstrate low-tech and accessible ways of working with community and to share information about our important waterways. Come prepared to collage, write, and draw together and bring something that speaks to your local waterway to use as inspiration. At the end of the session each participants page will be compiled into a final zine.
